The High Court in South’s (SA) Limpopo province, has heard that a pig farmer accused of killing two women and disposing their bodies in the pigsty, is fit to stand trial
During the previous sitting, the trial was postponed to allow Zacharia Olivier to get treatment for a leg infection. Olivier is accused of shooting and killing the women in August two years ago. Accused number three, William Musora, allegedly helped Olivier discard the bodies. Former accused number two, Rudolph de Wet, has since turned state witness. The defense lawyer Advocate Jakobus Venter has confirmed that his client is ready for trial
“I can confirm that Oliver has received treatment I also have in my hand as required previously and what is the norm I’ve got information of his treatment and the details of his medication that he has received as I can gladly turn for the court record if the court is satisfied,” Venter said.
