SEDFA has launched the CreativeBiz Nexus 2026 awareness and engagement campaign in strategic partnership with Brand SA to strengthen support for the country’s creative economy

The Small Enterprise Development Finance Agency (SEDFA) has launched the CreativeBiz Nexus 2026 awareness and engagement campaign in strategic partnership with Brand South Africa (SA) to strengthen support for the country’s creative economy.

The multi-channel campaign is designed to connect creative industry practitioners with government and development finance stakeholders, while promoting economic opportunities across music, film, fashion, arts and crafts, and digital content sectors.

Organisers say the national initiative will use high-impact radio broadcasts, social media campaigns, earned media coverage and on-site activations to reach creative communities across both urban and rural areas, particularly in KwaZulu-Natal and other parts of the country.

The programme aims to strengthen creative entrepreneurship, expand market access and improve collaboration between emerging creatives and development finance institutions. It also seeks to showcase the role of the creative sector in job creation and inclusive economic growth.
