Kaduna’s Kaduna Golf Club in Nigeria is preparing to host the annual First Bank Kaduna Golf Tournament on March 28, 2026, with organisers expecting more than 200 golfers to compete.
Captain of the club, Nazifi Jibrin, says preparations are underway to ensure a successful one-day event sponsored by First Bank of Nigeria. Organisers say this year’s tournament is expected to be a bigger and improved edition of the competition.
Meanwhile, golf development in East has received a boost after National Bank of Commerce Africa National Bank of Commerce Africa (NCBA) Group committed $460 000 to the 2026 Golf Series.
The funding includes $92 000 for the Junior Golf Foundation and $46 000 for the Kenya Golf Union to support junior and amateur golf championships.
The investment marks another year of support from NCBA as part of efforts to develop golf and nurture young talent across East Africa.
