Satellite imagery analysed by researchers at the ELC Humanitarian Research Lab in the United States indicates that Eldane Teaching Hospital in East Darfur was struck three times in what appears to have been a deliberate aerial attack.
The facility is located in an area controlled by the Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, while nearby government buildings and a police station were left untouched, suggesting the hospital itself was singled out.
Sudan’s military has denied any involvement.
