As preparations for the upcoming local government elections in South Africa (SA) gain momentum, the Electoral Commission today officially unveiled the identity logo and tagline, “Get Up, Show Up, Vote”.
The commission says the launch signals its readiness to deliver the elections.
It also noted that the preparations are at an advanced stage.
Last month the commission announced that a nationwide voter registration weekend would take place on June 20 and 21.
The date for the elections is yet to be announced.
