Ghana is making a major move toward continental integration, announcing it will grant visa-free access to all African passport holders starting May 25.
The policy, unveiled by President John Mahama and timed to coincide with Africa Day celebrations.
The positions are also among Ghana’s growing group of nations easing travel restrictions across the continent.
Officials say the decision builds on earlier commitments to promote free movement, trade, and unity within Africa under the African Continental Free Trade Area.
