He was speaking at the commemorative event to mark the 32nd International Day of reflection on the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.

The event was held in Pretoria, Gauteng Province, SA.

The event was hosted by the United Nations and the High Commission of the Republic of Rwanda in SA.

Also the the African Union Commission, through the Department of Political Affairs, Peace and Security, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda in Ethiopia and Permanent Mission to the African Union, will organised Kwibuka 32, marking the 32nd commemoration of the 1994 Genocide.
