The four semi-final teams for this season’s Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League are now confirmed.
Bayern Munich and Arsenal have joined Paris Saint German and Atletico Madrid after the conclusion of the second-leg, quarterfinal ties.
Arsenal will compete in the semi-finals of the tournament for the second straight year, the first time in the English club’s history.
In the first minute of the game, Arda Guler pounced on a terrible mistake by Bayern keeper Manuel Neuer to bring Real Madrid back into the game.
But that was short lived, as Bayern’s Aleksandar Pavlovic’s header levelled matters in the 29th minute.
However, the game went into half time with Real Madrid leading 3-2.
Luis Diaz and Michael Olise scored late goals to give the hosts a dramatic 4-3 win over the Spaniards, and a 6-4 aggregate victory.
