France’s Agathe Laisne has won the 2026 Joburg Ladies Open in South Africa (SA) after a dramatic finish that went down to a long playoff at Randpark Golf Club in Johannesburg.
The tournament, held in SA, was delayed by rain and eventually turned into a tense battle between Laisne, SA’s Cassandra Alexander, and Australia’s Kirsten Rudgeley.
Laisne eventually secured the win with a birdie on the final hole of a five-hole playoff, claiming her second Ladies European Tour title.
She said it was not easy, explaining that she had to stay focused and keep a positive mindset despite the long delays and pressure.
The 26-year-old also reflected on how tough the playoff became, with the match stretching late into the evening and ending almost in the dark.
