Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has urged his players to stay focused and not underestimate rivals Kaizer Chiefs

Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has urged his players to stay focused and not underestimate rivals Kaizer Chiefs ahead of this weekend’s Soweto Derby in South Africa (SA).

Pirates head into the clash in good spirits after a 3-0 win in the previous Betway Premiership meeting, but Ouaddou says that result means little now given Chiefs’ improved form.

Chiefs are currently enjoying a strong run, going six matches unbeaten and winning five in a row, making them a more dangerous opponent heading into the high-stakes encounter.

The Pirates coach says humility and discipline will be key if his side wants to get another positive result.

“In this job, you need a lot of humility. Kaizer Chiefs have been in very good shape over the last six games, but we focus on ourselves and how we want to attack that game,” he said.
