Former Zimbabwe leader’s son deported from SA

Bellarmine Mugabe, the son of former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has been deported from South Africa (SA).
 This after the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court handed him a non-custodial sentence following the shooting of his gardener at his Hyde Park home in February.
Bellarmine had pleaded guilty to pointing a firearm and being in the country illegally earlier this month. He was ordered to pay a fine of $36 000.
 His co-accused, Tobias Matonhodze was sentenced to a total of three years in jail for contravening the immigration laws,  defeating the ends of justice and possession of a firearm and ammunition.
