Nigeria and Cameroon have taken control in the final round of African qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Nigeria secured a 2-0 away win over Malawi in the first leg, while Cameroon came from behind to beat Tanzania 3-1.
Ghana hold a narrow 2-1 advantage over Uganda, although the tie remains open heading into the return leg. Côte d’Ivoire and Benin are also finely balanced after a 1-1 draw.
