Mozambican President Daniel Chapo is this week in South Africa (SA) on a working visit.

On Tuesday, he met for bilateral discussion with his SA counterpart, President Cyril Ramaphosa in the capital, Pretoria, Gauteng, Province.

Chapo’s visit comes as protests against illegal immigrants spread across SA.  

According to the presidency, relations between the two Southern African nations are strong and enduring, rooted in a shared history of solidarity and co-operation.

SA and Mozambique continue to advance through structured bilateral mechanism.
