Rwandan President Paul Kagame is set to arrive in Botswana for a two-day state visit today.

The visit is aimed at deepening diplomatic relations between Botswana and Rwanda.

The meeting is expected to reinforce longstanding bilateral ties through the signing of several agreements and Memoranda of Understanding designed to strengthen cooperation and mutual engagement.

This includes frameworks that promote closer collaboration on trade, investment, and mobility, alongside key instruments such as a Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement, a Bilateral Air Services Agreement, and visa waiver arrangements.
