The annual Africa Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Forum 2026 has returned to Rwanda, Kigali, bringing together some of the continent’s leading business figures, investors and policymakers.
Billed as Africa’s largest private sector gathering, the two-day summit has attracted more than 2 800 delegates from across Africa and beyond.
The forum is hosting high-level discussions, debates and strategic engagements focused on the role of the private sector in driving economic growth, investment and development across the continent.
Mmaphuti Rankapole-Tshifularo from Brand South Africa (SA) said the gathering also provides an important opportunity for SA to engage directly with investors and challenge negative perceptions about the country.
She said forums such as these allow African countries to showcase investment opportunities, strengthen partnerships and promote a more balanced narrative about the continent’s economic potential.
