The Ghana High Commission in Pretoria has temporarily suspended registration for its voluntary repatriation programme for Ghanaians living in South Africa (SA).
The mission says the pause, which takes effect from today, is intended to allow officials to process and verify more than 1 500 applications already received.
High Commission thanked members of the Ghanaian community in SA for their co-operation.
The voluntary repatriation programme was introduced to support Ghanaians wanting to return home.
