United States (US) Ambassador to South Africa (SA) Leo Brent Bozell says he hopes that the differences between SA and his country can be resolved soon.
In April, Roelf Meyer replaced former SA’s Ambassador to the US Ebrahim Rasool.
Speaking in Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal province during the 250th year anniversary of US independence, Bozell said what was hurting the situation was that neither country had an Ambassador.
He said maybe solutions are going to be a little different adding that both sides are guilty of unfortunate rhetoric from time to time, which hurts the situation.
