The South African (SA) football team Bafana Bafana has finally reached its final destination of the group stage of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) World Cup 2026.
Bafana Bafana arrived in Monterrey, Mexico, for their final Group A match against South Korea.
The match will be played at the 53 000-seater, Estadio Monterrey.
The must win match for SA will be played on Wednesday evening in Mexico, which will be at 03:00 AM Central African Time on Thursday.
Bafana are hoping to advance to the second round of the FIFA World Cup for the very first time, in their fourth tournament.
The team is currently at the bottom of Group A with just a single point, and they need a win in their third and final group match to increase their chances of finishing the opening round with four points.
South Korea are second in the group with three points after beating Czechia in their opening match of the tournament.
