At least 12 people have died after torrential rains triggered severe flooding across Ghana, including the capital, Accra.
More than 470 people have been rescued, with emergency crews continuing search and rescue operations.
President John Mahama says Accra recorded around 140 millimetres of rain, the highest in years, blaming changing climate conditions for the extreme weather.
Heavy rains have also battered neighbouring Ivory Coast, where local sources say multiple people are feared dead.
