The United Nations (UN) has launched the first-ever Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence (AI) governance in Geneva, Switzerland on Monday.
The launch brings together governments, technology companies, academics and civil society to shape a common approach to artificial intelligence.
The two-day meeting in Geneva comes as AI continues to transform industries and societies, with growing calls for stronger oversight, safety standards and international cooperation.
The dialogue aims to ensure that all countries-not only those leading AI development-have a voice in determining how the technology is governed.
