Mandela Month may be over, but the spirit of giving continues beyond South Africa’s (SA) borders.
In Lesotho, the SA High Commission to Lesotho Constance Seoposengwe has handed over a refurbished block of classrooms to the Lesotho Juvenile Centre, as part of this year’s International Nelson Mandela Day commemorations.
Seoposengwe, is calling on companies in both countries to lend a hand and help give young people who have run afoul of the law a second chance at life.
The 2026 theme of the International Nelson Mandela commemoration states that ‘it’s still on our hands to combat poverty and inequality.
Supported by multiple stakeholders, the block of classroom has been given a much-deserved face-lift.
