Chad’s President Marshal Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno has received his counterparts, the President of the Refoundation of Madagascar, Colonel Michael Randrianirina and the President of the Transition of Guinea, General Mamady Doumbouya in the capital N’Djamena as the country celebrates its 66th independence anniversary this Wednesday.

Both visiting leaders say they came to learn from Chad’s experience in managing political transition and to discuss closer cooperation in politics, economy, agriculture and culture.

The country gained its independence from France in 1960.
