Murder case of media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock expected to return to court

The case against a suspect in the murder of media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock is expected to return to the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg, South Africa (SA) today.

The matter was previously postponed for the finalisation of the docket.

Stock was shot dead in December last year in Johannesburg’s city centre.

The alleged mastermind, Victor Majola, and Armindo Pacula are charged with the premeditated murder of Stock and conspiracy to commit murder.

Pacula, a 25-year-old Mozambican national, was sentenced to 25 years in prison by the Johannesburg High Court earlier this month after entering into a plea agreement and confessing to Stock’s assassination.

He was convicted of murder, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, and contravening the Immigration Act, with all sentences running concurrently.

Meanwhile, the alleged mastermind, 44-year-old Majola, is expected to return to court today for the finalisation of the pre-trial conference.
