Nearly 100 days after Félix Moloua was reappointed as Prime Minister of the Central African Republic (CAR), the main opposition party, the Movement for the Liberation of the Central African People (MLPC), has delivered a scathing assessment of the government’s performance.
Speaking in an interview, former Prime Minister and current MLPC President Martin Ziguélé condemned the administration over soaring living costs, persistent electricity blackouts, rising unemployment, and systemic corruption.
Ziguélé also demanded formal government explanations regarding recent unresolved deaths and disappearances in the country.
The opposition leader defended the party’s decision to boycott the December 2025 general elections, citing an uneven political playing field, while outlining the MLPC’s alternative strategy to restore economic stability and democratic governance in Bangui.
