Zimbabwean businessperson, Lawrence Mudzinganyama has issued a public apology to the women he threatened to murder at a restaurant in Johannesburg, South Africa (SA).
He made the threats after the women rejected his romantic advances.
Speaking at the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Gender Based Violence and Femicide in Tshwane, SA’s Acting Police Minister Firoz Cachalia has condemned the incident.
In a statement, Mudzinganyama has pledged to co-operate with law enforcement officers in their investigation into his conduct. A video of the incident has been circulating on social media.
