South African (SA) Senior International Relations official says United States (US) Ambassador Leo Brent Bozell III has been demarche for the third time in nine months over what the official describes as “undiplomatic conduct.”
The official says the outstanding issues between SA and US remain under discussion, with both sides committed to resolving them.
A US government official, meanwhile, says US’s position is clear.
The official tells US has no interest in what it calls “diplomatic manoeuvring” and says the ball is now in SA’s court.
