SA Province to launch Catalytic Investment, Industrialisation Project with Chinese investors

SA’s  President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the keynote address during the signing ceremony.
The Free State province in South Africa (SA), is set to launch the Catalytic Investment and Industrialisation Project in Maluti-a-Phofung Local Municipality this Friday, in partnership with Chinese investors Joy Long-YJC.
With $6 billion of investments, the project will focus on automotive assembly, electric-mobility technologies, solar batteries, energy systems, logistics and skills development while creating about 7000 permanent jobs.
SA’s  President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the keynote address during the signing ceremony. Speaking to the media in Free State province on Wednesday, Maluti-a-Phufong Special Economic Zone (MAPSEZ) Chief Executive Officer Professor Mooketsi Mosola, explained the economic benefits of the project to the community in particular the youth.
