South Africa’s (SA) Electoral Commission (IEC) says it respects the decision of the Constitutional Court in the African National Congress (ANC) party matter.
The party had challenged an Electoral Court ruling in favour of the IEC, which excluded its 181 candidates from contesting elections in six municipalities.
The affected candidates will now have to be included on the ballot papers for November 4 elections.
