The African Union (AU) has signed its first-ever Memorandum of Understanding with the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA).
Signed by AU representative Ambassador Selma Malika Haddadi and BADEA President Abdullah Al Musabeeh, the agreement establishes a new framework for enhanced co-operation between the two organisations.
Through this partnership, the AU and BADEA have reaffirmed their shared commitment to accelerating Africa’s economic and social transformation by building stronger strategic partnerships and mobilising support for continental priorities.
The ultimate objective of this agreement is to translate the partnership into practical co-operation, resources, and tangible results, directly contributing to building a more prosperous, integrated, and sustainable Africa.
