South African (SA) President Cyril Ramaphosa says political killings and a recent spate of mass shootings are a major cause for concern.
He was speaking during an African National Congress (ANC) election campaign visit to Cape Town, Western Cape Province, ahead of South Africa’s local government elections on November 4.
Ramaphosa spent the weekend campaigning for votes in Western Cape Province, metropolitan area.
Last week, two ANC councillors were shot dead in Umgababa, in KwaZulu-Natal Province, while conducting door to door campaigning.
