Angolan President João Lourenço has arrived in Tanzania for a three-day state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and expanding trade co-operation between the two nations.
Lourenço was welcomed by his host, President Samia Suluhu Hassan, setting the stage for talks focused on deepening economic partnerships within the Southern African Development Community. Discussions are expected to focus on energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and regional security cooperation.
The visit builds on long-standing relations between Luanda and Dar es Salaam, dating back to Angola’s independence struggle, as both countries look to leverage regional trade corridors to boost economic growth.
