Zimbabwe’s national women’s cricket team will get another competitive run next month following the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) confirmation of an expanded Emerging Nations Trophy.
The tournament will feature 10 teams for the first time in its history, bringing together five Full Member nations alongside leading Associate teams. Zimbabwe have been drawn into Group B, where they will face Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, and the Netherlands.
Staged in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from November 12 to 25, the competition is structured by the ICC to accelerate the development of women’s cricket globally while offering emerging squads’ crucial exposure to top-tier international matchplay.
