Afghanistan completed a dominant clean sweep over Zimbabwe, winning the third and final T20 by nine runs in Harare.
A blistering 159-run opening partnership between Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran set the tone for the visitors’ commanding victory. Gurbaz top-scored with 92 off just 48 balls, while Zadran contributed a fluent 60. Sediqullah Atal added an unbeaten 35 as Afghanistan piled on an imposing 210 for 3.
Zimbabwe mounted a spirited chase, with Brian Bennett (47) and Sikandar Raza (51) putting together an 85-run stand for the third wicket. However, their efforts fell short as the hosts were bowled out for 201 off the final delivery.
With the nine-run win, Afghanistan secured the series 3–0, showcasing a blend of power, precision, and composure that left Zimbabwe with few answers.
