The Director General for Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention-Africa (CDC), Doctor Jean Kaseya has outlined some critical challenges which he says are hindering their response to the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Uganda.
The challenges include contact tracing and security in the DRC.
Funding has also been revealed as a stumbling block in fighting the outbreak.
Kaseya was updating the media on their response efforts, co-ordination measures and priority actions to support affected member states.
