Despite global economic uncertainty and geopolitical tensions, African Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) are showing renewed confidence in the continent’s growth story
That’s according to the KPMG 2025 Africa CEO Outlook Survey, which captures insights from 130 CEOs across Southern, East, and West Africa.
The 2025 Africa CEO Outlook reveals that nearly eight out of ten African CEOs are optimistic about business growth, and almost all expect to expand their operations in the next three years. The survey forms part of KPMG’s global CEO Outlook, now in its 11th year, and features perspectives from more than 1 300 CEOs across 11 regions worldwide. Benson Ndung’u, CEO and Senior Partner, KPMG East Africa, explains the background behind the survey.
