Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being used to help strengthen Tanzania’s tourism industry by giving businesses and policymakers faster access to visitor insights.
Developed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Tanzanian government, the Jozani AI platform is designed to improve decision-making and support economic growth on the Zanzibar archipelago.
The UN also works to create a global governance framework for artificial intelligence, it is also using the technology to address global challenges and improve people’s lives.
