Egyptian giants Al Ahly SC and Rwanda’s RSSB Tigers are set to clash at the BK Arena in Kigali for a place in the 2026 Basketball Africa League (BAL) final.

The RSSB Tigers, established in 2019, are aiming to make history by defeating the 2023 BAL champions and reaching their first final. Al Ahly, who also lifted the 2016 Fédération Internationale de Basket-ball Africa Champions Cup in Cairo, are chasing another milestone as they seek to become the first club to win the BAL title twice.

Both teams head into the encounter in strong form after winning four of their five games during the Kalahari and Sahara Conference stages respectively.
