Ramaphosa says the ANC priority is to remove criminals
The South African (SA) liberation party African National Congress (ANC) President Cyril Ramaphosa says the party’s priority is to remove criminals from its ranks and government.
He is calling the process a crucial part of its renewal strategy.
Presenting the political report to the ANC’s 5th National General Council in Brakpan, Gauteng Province, Ramaphosa said the ANC must deal decisively with corruption and unacceptable conduct, if it is to regain public trust.
He added that the party and its structures must overcome, what he called, a culture of poor implementation of their own decisions.
