Angola has called up four fighters from Benfica de Lubango to join the national taekwondo team for the Senior African Championships scheduled for May 30 to June 2 in Bamako, Mali.

The selected athletes are Matias Saprinho in the -87kg category, Elbo Vianja (-80kg), Tânia Bey (-46kg) and Luciano Gabriel (-74kg).

Technical Manager Estanislau Mateus said the team is aiming to secure valuable continental ranking points while representing Angola strongly at the championship.
