Luanda, Angola, will next week host the 7th African Union–European Union (AU–EU) Summit, bringing together Heads of State and Government from both continents to reaffirm their longstanding partnership and chart a renewed path for co-operation.
Scheduled for November 24–25, the summit marks 25 years of collaboration between the AU and EU. It comes at a pivotal moment as Angola holds the rotating AU Presidency.
The summit will be co-chaired by Angola’s President João Lourenço and President of the European Council António Costa, and is expected to focus on deepening political, economic, and social ties while addressing shared challenges across Africa and Europe.
