Angola, who will face South Africa (SA) in their opening match at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Morocco later this month, will play two warm-up internationals ahead of the tournament.

The Palancas Negras are travelling to Portugal for a 10-day preparation camp from December8 to 18, where they will take on Democratic Republic of Congo on December 13 and Mozambique three days later.

The Angolan Football Federation said coach Patrice Beaumelle is expected to announce his 28-man squad in the coming days, though no specific date has been provided.

Angola’s AFCON campaign begins in Marrakesh against SA on December 21, followed by a clash with Zimbabwe on December 26 and a Group B match against Egypt in Agadir three days later.

At the last AFCON finals in Ivory Coast, Angola reached the quarterfinals, a performance they will hope to improve on in Morocco.
