The President of Argentina, Javier Milei has announced that he will not attend the G20 Leaders’ Summit in South Africa next week

It would have been Milei’s second engagement as president with the forum that brings together the world’s 20 developed and emerging economies. Milei’s announcement follows United States (US) President Donald Trump’s statement in the past few days that no US official will travel to Johannesburg for the summit.
