South Africa’s national football team, Bafana Bafana, will face Zambia in an international friendly at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on November 15.
Head coach Hugo Broos has named a 22-man squad, retaining the majority of players who featured in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Several foreign-based stars have also been included, despite the friendly nature of the fixture.
The only notable addition is Sekhukhune United midfielder Keletso Makgalwa, with all other positions remaining consistent. Broos emphasised that his focus is on preparing the team for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, which kicks off on December 21, 2025.
This match marks the final FIFA international window of the year for Bafana Bafana before the AFCON tournament begins.
