Bail application of Bellarmine Mugabe and his co-accused postponed

South Africa’s (SA) Alexandra Magistrate’s Court in Johannesburg, Gauteng Province, has postponed the bail application of Bellarmine Mugabe and his co-accused, Tobias Matonhodze, to Thursday.

Mugabe, the last born son of late and former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, and his cousin Matonhodze made a brief appearance, after the defence told the court that they were still missing some crucial documents.

The pair face charges of attempted murder following a shooting incident at Mugabe’s Hyde Park property in Johannesburg last month.

It’s alleged that a 23-year-old man, believed to be an employee at the property, was wounded during the incident.
