South Africa’s (SA) Women’s national football team, Banyana Banyana are preparing for a competitive encounter against Lesotho, with midfielder Sibulele Holweni saying the team expects a tough contest against familiar regional rivals.

Holweni says Lesotho will be eager to prove themselves, but added that Banyana Banyana are equally determined to deliver a strong performance and build momentum heading into the semi-finals. She stressed that the match will start at 0-0 and that SA cannot afford to take anything for granted.

The player also expressed excitement about playing alongside her teammates, particularly looking forward to linking up with colleague Manora during the match.
