Burkina Faso is hosting an international conference on women in business.

Women from different parts of the continent and the diaspora have converged in Ouagadougou, the capital city.

Burkina Faso is still recovering from the political upheaval of 2022 that led to the military coup.

The military leader captained Ibrahim Traoré is trying to rebuild the economy and the women conference is part of the campaign to attract investors.

Delegates will look at the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement which can be use to build a strong economy in Africa.
