CAF said the delay is intended to finalise key arrangements to ensure fans enjoy the best possible experience during the tournament. The football body is working closely with the Local Organising Committee and other stakeholders to complete the preparations.
A new date for the first phase of ticket sales will be announced in due course. CAF apologised for any inconvenience caused by the delay.
