Members of the Cameroonian diaspora in South Africa (SA) are staging a protest outside the Cameroon Embassy in Pretoria, demanding that President Paul Biya respect the will of the people and the outcome of the ballot box.

The demonstration comes amid growing tensions following reports of irregularities in Cameroon’s tightly contested election. Protesters say they want transparency and accountability as the country awaits the official results.

Authorities have called for calm while the final tally is being prepared.
