The rights of children, their protection and wellbeing were under the spotlight at the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner.

The dinner was hosted in South Africa’s (SA) Gauteng Province, Johannesburg on Thursday night.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, Doctor Linda Ncube-Nkomo says over the past three decades, the fund has worked alongside communities and partners to elevate the voices of children.

She says this is to ensure that their rights remain at the centre of SA’s social progress.
