China has called on Zambia to adopt fresh strategies to strengthen its next five-year national development plan, underlining the close alignment between the two countries’ development goals.
Speaking at a symposium in Lusaka on China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, Chinese Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Wang Sheng said both nations share a focus on promoting economic growth and social progress.
“The shared objectives of our countries create a strong platform for collaboration,” Wang said, highlighting the need for innovative approaches to ensure Zambia’s development agenda achieves its goals.
As Zambia prepares to launch its next five-year plan, international partnerships, including support from China, are seen as vital to driving economic recovery and social development.
